With thousands of employees across diverse roles – from crew members serving popcorn to managers directing the show and bartenders crafting cocktails – AMC needed a complete uniform program as dynamic and engaging as their cinematic offerings. AMC partnered with HPI, Powered by BAMKO to create a workwear experience worthy of a standing ovation. Our experts dove deep into the heart of their brand, analyzing their values, target audience, and the unique demands of each role. Our research illuminated the path to a stylish and functional collection, ensuring employees felt as good as they looked.
Style and Functionality for the Full Cast
The result? An award-winning wardrobe for every cast member. This extensive custom workwear rollout included everything from comfy and casual t-shirts for the crew to pocketed polos for management, snap-front bartender shirts, chef coats, pants, sweaters, and more! The rollout was a carefully directed masterpiece, with a phased “soft launch” culminating in a grand premiere in April 2024.
The new uniforms were instant classics! Adoption rates soared, with nearly every employee eager to don the new looks. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many sharing that the update was “long overdue.” The polo shirts with pockets and the fresh headwear styles were instant crowd-pleasers, even leading to some “sold out” moments (which HPI and BAMKO swiftly resolved, of course).
