BASF Agricultural Solutions

Planting Seeds for Future Generations

Remember those iconic city playmats that sprawled across countless playroom floors in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s? BASF Agricultural Solutions, the innovation powerhouse, wanted to channel that nostalgia with a farm-themed twist into a family-friendly brand experience. They turned to BAMKO for help sourcing and designing this community activation for the youngest members of their youth learning program, Safety Scouts.

But finding a North American supplier who specialized in these playmats? This proved to be more difficult than finding a needle in a haystack (or a kernel in a cornfield)! Thankfully, BAMKO, with our extensive network and industry expertise, tracked down the only company in North America capable of bringing BASF’s vision to life. From there, we partnered with AdFarm agricultural marketing who created the custom, farm-themed design for the mats.

A Brand Experience that Lasts

The result? Five giant playmats that transformed BASF’s community events into miniature agricultural wonderlands. Their youngest Safety Scouts could now become fully engaged in events, driving their tractors through fields of imagination, building miniature farms, and discovering the vital role BASF Agricultural Solutions plays in putting food on our tables.

Along with the five large mats, 25 smaller mats were designed for gifting to lucky customers. These would leave a lasting impression of BASF’s commitment to both community and innovation. With these giveaways, key members of the BASF Safety Scouts program could build their dream farms right in their own living rooms.

BASF’s events are more than just fun and games. They’re an opportunity to spark curiosity and cultivate a love for learning. These playmats are a tangible way to educate kids about farming, crops, and the vital role BASF plays in our food supply chain.

With BAMKO as their partner in creativity, BASF isn’t just hosting family-friendly events. They’re planting seeds of knowledge, creating a memorable brand experience, and fostering a lasting appreciation for agriculture in the next generation. After all, the best way to grow a future farmer is to start with a little fun!
