Partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)
BAMKO is thrilled to share the Q2 results of our BAMKO Giveback Program, through which we donate 1% of our BAMKO Collection sales to a deserving organization. This quarter, we’re proud to have partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
Thanks to the incredible support of our customers, we generated $2,850 in donations for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Q2. Your contribution is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
The Critical Work of the AFSP
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), is a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, advocacy, and support. The AFSP provides resources and programs that empower individuals and communities to take action against this preventable public health problem. Through research, education, advocacy, and support, they strive to create a culture that’s smart about mental health and a world where suicide is no longer a threat.
BAMKO’s donation helps fund crucial research into the causes and prevention of suicide, expand education and training programs for professionals and the public, advocate for policies that promote mental health and suicide prevention, and provide support and resources to individuals and families who have been impacted by suicide.
