Women’s Month Spotlight: Meet the Driving Forces at BAMKO

This International Women’s Month, we’re taking a moment to shine a light on the extraordinary women who are the driving force behind BAMKO’s success. Beyond the sales spotlight, there’s a network of brilliant minds and dedicated leaders who meticulously craft the strategies, nurture the teams, and solve the complex challenges that keep our organization thriving.

We’re thrilled to celebrate three of these exceptional women, whose remarkable contributions and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in propelling BAMKO to new heights. Their strategic guidance, innovative thinking, and unwavering commitment to excellence are the cornerstones of our continued growth and success.

Danielle Olszewski Rios, Senior Project Manager

Danielle Olszewski Rios skillfully blends strategic project delivery with impactful sales enablement. This fusion of creativity and working within a dynamic, global team environment is what inspires Danielle to excel at what she does. She finds immense value in collaborating with talented individuals across the US, and even across the globe, drawing inspiration and learning each day from their diverse viewpoints and perspectives.

Working as a Senior Project Manager, each day looks different. But Danielle has her routine down. “My early mornings are dedicated to creative work, accompanied by a lofi playlist,” Danielle shares. “By mid-afternoon, I transition to check-ins, project reporting, and collaborative work. And I always make time for my go-to Yogi Tea, Vanilla Spice Perfect Energy Tea, to keep me focused.”

Danielle knows that in the promotional products industry, being adaptable is key. She dedicates herself to being able to adapt to changing preferences, economic shifts, and new technologies. “Adaptability is such an essential skill in the promotional products sector,” said Danielle. “Success comes from proactively addressing these changes and consistently delivering the right solutions at the right time.”

We asked Danielle if she could have dinner with any famous woman, past or present, who would it be, and what she would ask them?

“The author, Brianna Wiest. She’s known for writing on personal development, philosophy, and psychology – studying the complexities of human emotions, self awareness, and the journey of personal growth. I’d love to ask her how she views the relationship between personal growth and societal expectations. This is a topic that fascinates me, especially after reading her book “Pivot Year’, which helped me develop a stronger mindset.”

Nikita Rambaran, Senior Director of National Accounts

Witnessing her team’s evolution fuels Nikita’s passion. She finds immense joy in seeing her team gain confidence and contribute to revenue growth, and she champions their development by fostering a culture of mentorship.

Nikita’s days are filled with strategic oversight and hands-on support. “My daily routine centers on reviewing key client accounts, coaching and mentoring my team, and ensuring seamless collaboration,” Nikita explains. “I dedicate significant time to fostering strong client relationships and understanding their evolving needs.”

As a leader, Nikita strongly believes in self-advocacy and welcomes constructive feedback. She believes empathetic leadership, prioritizing kindness, respect, and active listening are pivotal to good leadership. “The best leaders speak kindly, demonstrate empathy, and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty to help their team even if they are in a higher up position,” she states. “Someone who treats their employees with respect and truly listens to their concerns, ideas, random rants!”

“If I could have dinner with any famous woman, past or present, it would undoubtedly be Mindy Kaling.” Nikita shares. “As a fellow South Asian woman, I deeply admire how she’s shattered barriers in Hollywood, forging her own path to success while staying true to herself. Her ability to infuse her unique perspective into her work, while navigating the pressures of being both a woman and a minority in the business world, is something I truly respect. I’d love to delve into her experiences and gather insights from her remarkable career.”

Sandra Humphries, Vendor Relations Manager

Sandra Humphries expertly navigates the dynamic landscape of vendor relations at BAMKO, connecting our teams with top-tier partners. Her days are a whirlwind of collaboration, ensuring smooth processes and discovering innovative product solutions.Sandra Humphries - BAMKO Women Leaders

Celebrating team wins fuels Sandra’s passion. She thrives on seeing creative concepts come to life and surpassing client expectations, finding deep satisfaction in turning ideas into tangible results and strengthening vendor partnerships. “I love being part of some of the most innovative and creative projects at BAMKO, where we push boundaries and deliver unique solutions,” said Sandra. “Knowing that my work helps turn ideas into reality and strengthens our vendor relationships makes every win even more fulfilling.”

Sandra believes resilience and persistence are crucial for women in leadership within the promotional products world. She emphasizes the importance of pushing through challenges and never accepting “no” as the final answer, advocating for creative problem-solving and unwavering vision. “Whether it’s negotiating with vendors, bringing creative ideas to life, or pushing for innovation, success often comes from perseverance,” said Sandra. “Finding solutions, thinking outside the box, and standing firm in your vision can make all the difference in driving impactful results.

If Sandra could have dinner with any famous woman, it would be Caitlin Clark. “She’s an incredible athlete who has redefined the game of women’s basketball with her skill, confidence, and competitive spirit. I’d love to ask her about her mindset—how she stays focused under pressure, what motivates her to keep pushing boundaries, and how she handles the weight of being a trailblazer in her sport. Her leadership and determination are inspiring, and I’d love to hear her thoughts on breaking barriers and staying resilient in the face of challenges.”
